Foreman Production Area (m/f/d)

As a Foreman in the production area, you coordinate the work processes in your area of responsibility and ensure a smooth production process together with your team.

At our plant in Norderstedt, we produce more than 10,000 tons of chocolate products per year on twelve production lines. Our core competence are chocolate assortments, seasonal chocolates and specialties. In your function, you act as a link between your team and the Production Manager. You forward tasks and changes in production planning to your team and communicate progress, complications and/or similar issues to the Production Manager. In addition, you are also be responsible for organisational tasks, such as checking if all tasks are carried out or creating the necessary documentation.

Your tasks as a Foreman in the production area:

  • Organisation, controlling and monitoring of all work processes in your area of responsibility;
  • Implementation and reflection of performance targets;
  • Motivation and development of your team;
  • Development and active implementation of suggestions for improvement as part of optimisation projects.

As a Foreman in the production area, this is what you bring with you:

  • Successful qualification as an industrial foreman food (m/f/d) or food technician (m/f/d), ideally in the field of confectionery;
  • Several years of professional experience in food production;
  • Comprehensive knowledge of food production, including the relevant quality & certification standards (IFS, BRC, HACCP, etc.);
  • Interdisciplinary thinking, communication and leadership skills;
  • Technical expertise and inventiveness;
  • Willingness to work shifts, weekends and extra shifts;
  • Very good knowledge of German, good knowledge of English is an advantage.
