Product Data Specialist (m/f/d)

As a Product Data Specialist you will help us to process large amounts of complex product information and to publish this information efficiently on the relevant channels.

At our plant in Norderstedt, we produce more than 10,000 tons of chocolate products per year on twelve production lines. Our core competence are chocolate assortments and specialties. But before we can produce these delicious products for our customers, we need to supply all sorts of product data to our customers. And our customers' requirements for product data are constantly increasing. Your task is to collect all product data and enrich it with further information in order to make it available to our customers quickly and efficiently.

Your tasks as Product Data Specialist:

  • Checking ingredient declarations;
  • Implementation of customer requirements;
  • Creation and management of specifications and QA documents;
  • Supplying product related data and specifications to customers;
  • Preparation of certification audits (IFS, BRC, etc.);
  • Functioning as a contact person for suppliers, customers and authorities regarding quality issues and food law issues;
  • Tracking and implementation of legal innovations or changes in quality management;
  • Participation in the HACCP team;
  • Processing customer complaints.

As a Product Data Specialist, this is what you bring with you:

  • A degree in food chemistry or a comparable degree;
  • At least three years of professional experience in quality assurance in the food industry (preferably the confectionery industry);
  • Comprehensive knowledge of food law, QM systems and operational hygiene requirements;
  • Knowledge of the application of quality management systems would be an advantage;
  • Good knowledge of English and confident handling of MS Office applications;
  • Ability to work in a team, resilience and assertiveness;
  • An independent, goal-oriented and structured way of working.
