Group Tax & Compliance Officer

As the Group Tax & Compliance Officer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the company’s compliance with regulations, transfer pricing, and the evolving global tax landscape, including Pillar 2 regulations.

Together with the Group Controller, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing compliance programs across the organization’s global entities. You will report to the Group Controller.

Your Key Responsibilities:

Transfer Pricing Management

  • Oversee and maintain the group’s transfer pricing policies, ensuring compliance with international regulations;
  • Prepare, review, and help local finance teams to update transfer pricing documentation across all jurisdictions to align with OECD guidelines including master file and local file templates;
  • Collaborate with external advisors and internal stakeholders to ensure the proper application of transfer pricing methods and mitigate any related risks;
  • Monitor intercompany transactions and ensure alignment with market-based pricing;
  • Manage transfer pricing audits, inquiries, and assessments globally.

Tax Compliance & Strategy

  • Manage corporate tax compliance activities, including direct and indirect tax matters across multiple jurisdictions;
  • Identify tax risks and opportunities and propose tax-efficient structures and solutions to optimize the group's tax position;
  • Act as the main point of contact with the country finance teams on tax issues, audits, and disputes;
  • Collaborate with the finance and accounting teams to ensure proper tax provisions and accurate tax reporting in the financial statements;
  • Provide regular reports on tax compliance status, risks, and opportunities to management.

Pillar 2 (Global Minimum Tax) Compliance

  • Monitor developments in OECD’s Pillar 2 regulations (global minimum tax) and assess their impact on the group’s operations;
  • Lead the implementation of Pillar 2 compliance strategies, ensuring that the group meets all requirements in the countries where it operates;
  • Develop and update group-wide policies and processes to ensure compliance with Pillar 2 rules, including reporting and documentation requirements.

Corporate Governance & Legal Compliance

  • Ensure that the group adheres to all relevant corporate governance requirements related to compliance;
  • Keep up to date with evolving international laws and regulations, ensuring that internal policies and procedures remain compliant;
  • Coordinate with external advisors and internal stakeholders to ensure the proper application in the group;
  • Provide training and guidance to local management and finance teams on legislation, tax and transfer pricing matters, ensuring consistency and compliance across all entities.

Your Qualifications & Experience:

  • Relevant Master’s degree in one of the following: Taxation, Accounting, Finance, (Fiscal) Law, Economics or related field;
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in compliance, transfer pricing, corporate law or a similar role in an international organization or consulting firm;
  • Strong knowledge of OECD transfer pricing guidelines and Pillar 2 global tax framework.

Your Skills & Competences:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex tax issues to non-tax stakeholders;
  • Fluency in English is required; additional languages are an asset;
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to identify and mitigate tax risks;
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in tax documentation and reporting;
  • Ability to work independently and proactively in a fast-paced, international environment;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
